Heating

Large space heating was the first offer for Jet Environmental in the 1990’s.

Products requiring consistent accurate heating in large spaces pose a conundrum; there are radiant heaters that provide localised and uneven heat and there are unit heaters that do the same. 

​

To provide consistent controlled heating, the warmed air needs to be evenly distributed around the space. Then there is the issue of uniformity of the heat at all levels in the space when, naturally, heat will try to rise to the ceiling.

 

To overcome these challenges, Jet Environmental uses high-level ductwork to take the air to where it’s needed and introduces it through high-velocity nozzles.

Using nozzles provides the thorough mixing required for confectionary, fine wines and pharmaceuticals with the added advantage of being highly efficient by pushing warm rising air back towards the ground.

In recent years, Jet Environmental Systems has adopted the use of heat pumps as a heat source alongside traditional gas heating.

 

The early adoption of heat pump technology has put Jet at the forefront of system design, ensuring robust solutions that operate in the harshest of situations. Our latest designs incorporate natural refrigerants that create water temperatures comparable with traditional gas boilers.
