Research and Development

We pride ourselves in pushing the boundaries in all aspects of HVAC development whether that’s scale or complexity of a project or development of the components that go to make up our systems. We work hand in hand with our customers and consultant networks to tackle a diverse range of temperature and humidity requirements.  

 

We have done extensive research in the development of predictive controls sponsoring MSc and PhD students to develop controls that predict changes in weather so we can respond before natural events occur and have also modelled building to predict how they behave with changes in conditions. All of our research is aimed at increased reliability of performance and lowering energy consumption.  

 

To combat ever increasing component and manufacturing costs we have developed a standard range of packaged air source heat pumps using common components; this has allowed us to procure more cost effectively with the added benefit that consumables and spares are readily available.
