Significant moves have been made towards increasing thermal efficiency and reducing air leakage of all new buildings, these improvements being incorporated into the current Part L2 of the Building Regulations.
The result of these improvements is the significant reduction in the amount of energy required to heat or alternatively cool a warehouse.
However if a form of heating/cooling system is installed which gives poor distribution and high stratification levels then the system will be both inefficient and expensive to run.
